Ronaldo itching to hit the pitch
This past Wednesday Ronaldo made his 2008 Season debute at Old Trafford in United's first Champions League game back from winning it all last season. Ronaldo spent the off season nursing an ankle which he had surgery on a month after conquering not only the Premiership Title but also the Champions League. His expected arrival date was not until the end of October, and here we are almost a whole month early - could it be too early of a return of the young stud?
This Saturday 9/20 United faces off against Chelsea - who currently remain on top of the leader board in rankings and points. With United sitting in 14th place would it be a smart decision for Sir Alec Ferguson to start or even play Ronaldo. Throwing him into would could be the match of the weekend could pose trouble? The last time United clashed with Chelsea was the last game of the season last year in the Champions League Finals - where United won in a penalty shootout.
